While commonly used to wrap products like frozen pizza, shrink films have many additional food packaging applications including produce, sandwiches, bakery items, and prepared meals. Properly selected and applied shrink films deliver a strong and secure seal while still highlighting the product with excellent visibility. A variety of gauges of shrink films are available.
Lidding films are available in 50–300 gauge and can include features like: anti-fog, barrier, perforated/non-perforated, printed/unprinted, reclosable, and with various coatings.
Available in printed, unprinted, microwaveable, and eco-friendly options. Flow wrap can be wrapped horizontally or vertically.
Peel strengths are just what they sound like—how much force is required to peel back a film. Each strength has unique use cases depending on factors like the food being used or distribution method. Strengths include hard peel, soft peel, medium peel, lock seal.
